Carroll didn’t tell me this history but when Arnie Lang of the New York Philharmonic saw this pair of cymbals at a cymbal clinic I was doing at the Manhattan School of Music, he expressed surprise that Carroll would sell me this pair as it looked like a pair he would rent to the New York Philharmonic.
